About MAF
The Malaysia Arts Festival (MAF) is a premier national performing arts competition featuring Dance, Vocal, Musical Instrument, and Latin & Ballroom categories. Supervised by Persatuan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Malaysia (PKKM), is a non-profit cultural and arts organisation, MAF is endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) and supported by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) and the International Youth Performing Arts Championship (YPAC).
MAF provides a prestigious platform for performers to showcase their artistic excellence in a professional and inspiring environment. The festival is committed to discovering, nurturing, and celebrating emerging talent while promoting creativity, technical excellence, artistic interpretation, cultural appreciation, and confident stage
presence.
Beyond competition, MAF brings together young performers, educators, and arts organisations to foster collaboration, cultural exchange, and continuous artistic development. Through high standards of adjudication and professional event organisation, MAF aims to contribute to the long-term development of Malaysia’s performing arts community and inspire the next generation of artists.

VOCAL & INSTRUMENT COMPETITION
The Vocal & Instrument Competition provides an excellent platform for aspiring musicians and vocalists to showcase their talent, technical skills, and artistic expression. Participants gain valuable performance experience while receiving constructive feedback from experienced adjudicators, helping them refine their abilities and support their artistic growth. Outstanding performers are recognized through awards and commendations, enhancing their achievements and professional portfolios.
